My name is Sarah Dutertre, I am French, and I am 12 years old. I was born in Paris (France) and we first lived in a large apartement. My parents had a new baby but she died before being born. We then moved into another apartment because I had a small brother. After my fifth birthday, i moved to Singapore. My mum started to talk to me about Global Warming and all the plastics in the ocean killing the animals. When I heard that I cried for days. I couldn’t imagine how humans can be so evil! I was only six but I was determined to help with what I could. I started to do a bit of research by asking people around me about Global Warming.

I learnt a lot, more than I thought I would! At the age of eleven, I created a Team called GST: Global Sitter Team. this idea didn’t suddenly pop in my head. My mum had been asked to join a team called “ Les Verts”. This team was going to present themselves as delegates to help the earth. In the GST There was me and three other friends.We made speeches, short videos, posters etc.

What I am really trying to do is convince as many people as possible to be on my side and help stop Global Warming. We need YOUR help!

ideas & PROJECTS.

activities

I do a lot of games and activities. I create fun stuff for the young children to understand what is Global Warming and to have fun in the same time!

short videos

I do short videos to explain what is Global Warming. I even do some with my friends.

speeches

I do a lot of speeches agains Global Warming and the usage of plastics. I try to convince people to act and try to change the problem on earth.

plastic in the ocean

I am willing to organize and short trip with children's to a beach and clean it. We would take out the plastic to put them in a recyclable bin.

keep the ocean alive

We have to keep the ocean alive. The only efficient solution is that everyone on this planet reduce their use of plastic and instead use fabric. It is way better because you can even mack it yourself and you can put the design you want!
